Our trip through Minnesota was brief. After getting an early start as the sun was rising, we drove through the green countryside and then stayed in the twin cities of Minneapolis/St. Paul. We watched the US Women win against Spain while eating at the Brit’s Pub; took a walk through the lush vegetation of Minnehaha park as we walked along the stream to the banks of the Missouri river, and while driving around checking out the town, we ate at the Midtown Global Market. In the evening, we took in a Twins game at Target field.
